On Monday I posted the boy birthday card we made for our recent Stamp Club meeting. Today, I am posting the girl version of the card. Personally, this is one of my all-time favorite cards! I absolutely love the colors, and how the balloons seem to jump off the page.
Did you notice how the owl has a little bow in her “hair”? It’s punched out from two of the little hearts included on the owl punch. How cool is that?! Did you also notice how the balloon has the little white marks to give a 3D effect, and how it also has a bottom where the string is tied? The white marks came from the uni-ball Signo Gel Pen, and the bottom of the balloon is actually from the feet of the owl punch! Very neat, and just shows that you don’t have to use a punch for its intended purpose.
