Cropping the Day Away

Today I hosted a crop at the Crofton Library.  I finished four double layouts, all using retired Stampin’ Up! papers.  I need to make some room for all the new papers available now!

There is an awesome sale this month going on where you can stock up on Stampin’ Up!’s newest Designer Series Papers!  Get your paper fix before the sale is finished.

Card: Finally!

I really hope you all enjoyed yesterday’s Hawaii Ink Blog Hop!  It was a ton of fun and there is a lot of talent in our group!

Here are some details on how I created yesterday’s hop card.

All About You

The base of the card is Whisper White cardstock.  I used Polka Dot Parade Designer Series Paper, which was carried over from last year’s catalog.  I am so glad that it was!  The colors are so much fun to play with.

The stamp set is new, and I am in love with it.  It has a lot of fun greetings, so the title of the set Really Good Greetings, is a really good name!

To make the flags, I used a square punch, eyeballed it so it would be lined up properly, and punched it out.  So simple!  I love this technique to create flags.

NEW Wood-Mount Cases

SO.  FREAKING.  EXCITED!!!!  This is way awesome news!

Introducing our new wood-mount stamp set packaging! These new cases are similar to our clear-mount boxes and fit perfectly on the shelf right next to them. They also have the images and stamp set name on the spine to make your search for the right set even easier.

Starting May 31 all wood-mount sets will come in this new packaging. And empty cases will be available with the launch of the new catalog. That means you can transfer all your old sets to these new boxes! There will even be a template for you to create your own label for your old stamp sets (available May 31). A pack of four half-size cases (3-3/4″ x 5-1/2″) will sell for $4.95 and a pack of four full-size cases (7-1/2″ x 5-1/2″) will be $6.95.

Get ready for all the exciting new products in the catalog–especially the new wood-mount boxes!

*At this point, incentive stamps will not be packaged in the new cases. And remember, translated sets are only available in clear-mount.

Card: Simple Butterfly

Simple Butterfly

Simple.  Beautiful.  Stunning.

I have fallen in love with this Swallowtail butterfly stamp.  Seriously, this handmade card is amazing and SO simple to make!

I used Staz On ink to stamp the butterfly, and put a little pearl on his body for some effect.  The sentiment came from the Petite Pairs set.

Simple Butterfly inside

This inside is a perfect compliment to the front of the card.  Simple and stunning.

I made this card for my Stamp Club.  If you would like to be a part of my monthly Stamp Club, please contact me for more details!

Happy Stampin’,
