The other night, I went to a MOPS (Moms of Preschoolers) Craft Night, and we made these adorable wreathes to hold our Christmas cards! It is made with Stampin’ Up! paper, so I had to share 🙂
I love how eclectic it looks! It was really fun and actually pretty easy to make – maybe a little time consuming, but I even finished it in less than 3 hours.
Paper used: Snow Festival Designer Series Paper (126908) – only available until January 2nd!
Erin LeMere was the coordinator for this project, so she had all the supplies. But she bought all the supplies at Michael’s (except for the paper!). We took the wood wreathe and painted it whatever color we wanted. I chose silver. Then we used 49 clothespins to create the card holders. The paper was added using Mod Podge (on the clothespin and also on the outside of the paper to seal it). Some of the clothespins were also dipped into chunky clear glitter for an added dimension. They were then added to the wreathe using a glue gun and a spare clothespin to use as a spacer when placing them down. Then we took ribbon and torn pieces of fabric and tied them in between the clothespins to create the finished product.
This is one of my favorite cards of all time 🙂 I love how elaborate it looks, but it was super simple to make. I created this for one of my quarterly downline meetings. (If you want to join my team, please visit my website!)
The flowers look very subtle stamped on Very Vanilla cardstock with Crumb Cake ink. Midnight Muse makes the bird and sentiment pop. Pearl Basic Jewels finish off the card with the little details.
I love making itty-bitty cards! They are so cute and really fun and fast to make. This is a 3″ x 3″ card, and even though you can’t really see it under the Patio Party DSP which is also cut to 3″ x 3″, the base is Summer Starfruit.
To make a 3″ x 3″ card, simply cut your base cardstock to 3″ x 6″ and fold in half. After I added the DSP to the front of the card, I adhered Summer Starfuit cardstock cut to 2-1/8″ x 2-1/8″ using Stampin’ Dimensionals. The Whisper White cardstock was cut down to 2″ x 2″ where I stamped the cake and the cake topper and then used Snail Adhesive to tape that piece to the mat.
